Hey… content / a repackaging of old stuff!
I’ve added a photography page with a few of my best photos along with a category for technical disasters. To make it easy, I’m using the Ozio Gallery plugin to pull my public photos from Google+, so anything new on Google+ automatically mirrors here.
While the plugin itself does what it says, I can’t help but feel it’s missing some basic functionality though:
- The module piece will only show an entire gallery, not specific albums or random photos. It would just be nice to have a sidebar widget for that.
- Transition animations seem to be temperamental. Certain combinations don’t play nice together, but the UI let’s you select them anyway and displays an error on the live page.
- Any skin besides nano just looks too bulky, and clashes with modern design (from what I’ve witnessed anyway).
Don’t get me wrong (or do, what do I care?) it is a great plugin that appears to be updated frequently, I just wish it had more options. And hey, it does GIFs.
